In January, 84,9 mln kWh of electricity has been produced in Azerbaijan through alternative and renewable energy sources, and this is 4,7 mln kWh or 5,2% less in annual comparison, the Ministry of Energy told APA-Economics.
22,56 mln kWh of electricity has been produced in the wind power plants, and 9,2 mln kWh electricity in the solar power plant in the reporting period.
According to the information, in the first quarter of this year, the solid waste incineration plant produced 53.14 million kWh of electricity.
