From January to September 2025, Azerbaijan exported over 500,730 tons of crude oil to Greece, valued at approximately $268.5 million, according to the State Customs Committee, as cited by Report. This reflects a substantial 2.2-fold increase in volume and an 85.4% rise in value compared to the same period in 2024. Greece accounted for 2.95% of Azerbaijan’s total crude oil exports during this timeframe.
Overall, Azerbaijan exported more than 16.996 million tons of crude oil and bituminous rock-derived products, generating around $8.939 billion in the first nine months of 2025. The country’s total foreign trade volume reached $35.376 billion, with exports contributing $18.606 billion and imports totaling $16.769 billion.
