Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company (SOCAR) and Norwegian technology leader ABB have discussed advancing the energy transition, digital transformation, and innovative resource management solutions, according to SOCAR, as reported by Report.
The dialogue took place during a meeting between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and Tor Ove Lussand, ABB’s Vice President for Northern Europe. The Norwegian delegation was briefed on Azerbaijan’s ongoing efforts to modernize its energy sector, reduce carbon emissions, and implement green energy projects in collaboration with international partners.
