Azerbaijan’s wind power plants generated 100 million kWh of electricity from January to November 2025 — twice the output recorded in the same period of 2024, according to the State Statistical Committee, as reported by Report.
Solar power production rose 10.1% year-on-year to 572.5 million kWh.
Overall electricity generation reached 24.60 billion kWh, a 1% increase from the previous year, with commercial output also up 1% at 23.78 billion kWh.
Hydropower contributed 2.67 billion kWh (down 2%), while thermal plants produced 20.44 billion kWh (up 0.9%). Waste-to-energy generation totaled 172.9 million kWh, declining 5.4%.
