The Collegium of the Ministry of Energy has approved the “Requirements for Projects Financed from the Energy Efficiency Fund,” as well as the application form for financing pilot projects, obtaining subsidies and grants, and the information form for projects financed through authorized credit institutions. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.
According to the decision signed by Minister Parviz Shahbazov, the Fund's resources will not be directed to projects operating in certain areas. The prohibited directions include:
The decision instructs the Ministry's Legal Department to submit the document to the Ministry of Justice within 3 days for inclusion in the State Register of Legal Acts, in order for it to enter into force.
These regulations aim to ensure that the Fund's resources are used exclusively for projects aimed at increasing energy efficiency, as well as to guarantee their use in compliance with environmental and ethical standards. As a result, the process of stimulating energy efficiency measures will be carried out in a more transparent and targeted manner.
