In early March, Kazakhstan will be represented at a high level at the 12th Ministerial Meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor (SGC) Advisory Council and the 4th Ministerial Meeting of the Green Energy Advisory Council, both to be held in Baku.
According to information provided to “Report” by the Ministry of Energy, preparations for both events are currently underway. Kazakhstan’s participation in the meetings is planned at the level of the Minister of Energy or Deputy Minister.
The Ministry noted that documents on the agendas of the events are being prepared and the relevant coordination processes are ongoing. Additional details regarding the composition of the delegation, the issues to be discussed, and Kazakhstan’s position will be disclosed after the completion of domestic procedures.
It should be noted that these high-level meetings to be held in Baku will serve as an important platform for discussing topical issues such as the development of the Southern Gas Corridor, diversification of gas supplies, and the promotion of green energy projects. Kazakhstan’s participation will contribute to further strengthening energy cooperation in the region.
