The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Türkiye Petrolleri A.O. (TPAO) have discussed the progress of projects implemented through their partnership. Report informs, citing SOCAR, that the discussions took place during a meeting between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and TPAO’s Head of Foreign Projects Department Çağrı Şirin, along with Halil Buğra Yavuz, head of TPAO’s representative office in Azerbaijan.
The meeting expressed satisfaction with the development of relations between SOCAR and TPAO. In this regard, the significance of TPAO’s joining last year the “Production Sharing Agreement on Joint Geological Exploration and Development of the Shafag‑Asiman Prospective Structure in the Azerbaijani Sector of the Caspian Sea” was highlighted as an important step in expanding cooperation.
The parties also exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest.
