The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) has increased its forecast for daily oil production in Azerbaijan for 2026, Report informs, citing the agency’s June edition of the “Short‑Term Energy Outlook”.
According to the updated data, oil production in Azerbaijan this year will reach 550,000 barrels per day. Last month’s forecast for this figure was 540,000 bpd.
For the second quarter of this year, daily oil production is expected to be 550,000 bpd, compared to last month’s forecast of 540,000 bpd.
In the third and fourth quarters of this year, oil production is expected to be 540,000 bpd, whereas in May the forecast for those quarters was 530,000 bpd.
For comparison, oil production in the first and second quarters of 2025 was 570,000 bpd, and 560,000 bpd in the third and fourth quarters.
According to the EIA, liquid hydrocarbon production in Azerbaijan in 2025 averaged 570,000 barrels per day.
