The Trans‑Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) has delivered 49.5 billion cubic metres of natural gas to Italy since it became operational, Report informs, citing Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov in a post on X, congratulating Italy on its Republic Day.
The minister noted that Italy is Azerbaijan’s key trading partner and a major destination for a significant portion of its oil and gas exports.
“Azerbaijan‑Italy relations, built on multidimensional strategic partnership, are further strengthened by new investment, energy projects, and humanitarian cooperation,” Shahbazov stated.
