The Ministry of Energy registered over 7,000 citizen appeals in the first half of the year.

During the first six months of 2026, a total of 7,326 citizen appeals were received by the Ministry of Energy and the institutions operating under its authority.

This was stated in a report released by the Ministry.

According to the report, 1,043 appeals were informational in nature, while 6,283 appeals required executive action. Of the executive appeals, 5,729 were responded to or resolved in accordance with established procedures, while work on 554 appeals is still ongoing.

The appeals mainly concerned connection to the electricity network, issuance of technical specifications, operational conditions of electrical equipment and installations, quality of energy supply, service interruptions, protection zones, cabling, gasification, debts and fines, meter malfunctions, renewable energy, energy efficiency, registration for appointments, personnel issues, various permits, letters of appreciation, and other matters.

During the reporting period, 4,948 appeals were received through the Ministry’s Call Center and Hotline services. Of these, 4,080 related to electricity, heating energy, and natural gas supply, 512 were expressions of appreciation, and 356 concerned other issues.

In addition, during the six-month period, senior officials of the Ministry of Energy and its subordinate institutions held receptions for a total of 203 citizens.
