Kazakhstan boosts oil supplies to BTC pipeline by 11.5%

Kazakhstan's national oil company KazTransOil supplied 155,000 tonnes of Kazakh oil to the Baku‑Tbilisi‑Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline via the Aktau seaport in July, representing an 11.5% increase compared with the same month last year, according to the July shipment figures released by the company, Report informs via Interfax‑Kazakhstan.

Earlier, Kazakhstan's Energy Minister Yerlan Akkenzhenov stated that the country plans to transport 2.2 million tonnes of oil through the BTC system in 2026.

At the same time, the minister did not rule out the possibility that Kazakhstan's exports via this route could reach 2.5‑3 million tonnes by the end of the year, depending on overall production and logistics.

Kazakhstan exported 1.2 million tonnes of oil through the BTC pipeline in 2025.
