Azerbaijan's crude oil exports reach $8 billion in first seven months

Azerbaijan exported 12.72 million tonnes of crude oil and petroleum products derived from bituminous minerals during January–July 2026, Report informs, citing data from the State Customs Committee.

The value of crude oil exports stood at $8.03 billion. Compared to the same period in 2025, the volume of crude oil exports fell by 12.08%, while their value rose by 4.86%.

Crude oil and petroleum products accounted for 41.54% of Azerbaijan's total exports over the seven‑month period.

Overall, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover reached $29.21 billion in January–July. Exports amounted to $19.34 billion, while imports totalled $9.88 billion. Exports increased by 27% year‑on‑year, whereas imports declined by 27.4%.
