According to customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported 14,427,713,630 cubic metres of natural gas in January–July of this year, Report informs, citing statistics from the State Customs Committee.
The value of natural gas exports from Azerbaijan amounted to $4,882,439,840.
During the reporting period, the volume of exported natural gas increased by 0.12% compared with the first seven months of 2025, while its value fell by 7.3%.
Natural gas accounted for 25.25% of Azerbaijan's total exports in the reporting month.
It should be noted that in January–July of this year, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations worth $29,216 million with foreign countries. Exports accounted for $19,336 million, while imports totalled $9,881 million. Over the past year, exports increased by 27%, while imports decreased by 27.4%.
