Azerbaijan exported 821,311.3 tonnes of crude oil to Romania in January–July 2026, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
The value of the exported crude oil amounted to $522.2 million.
Compared with the first seven months of 2025, the volume of crude oil exports to Romania increased by 19.7%, while their value rose by 38.1%.
Crude oil exports to Romania accounted for 6.45% of Azerbaijan's total oil exports during the reporting period.
According to customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported 12.7 million tonnes of crude oil and petroleum products obtained from bituminous minerals worth $8.03 billion in January–July.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries worth $29.22 billion. Exports accounted for $19.34 billion of the total foreign trade turnover, while imports amounted to $9.88 billion.
