On 26 August, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with a delegation led by Wang Kang, Vice President of the Export‑Import Bank of China, Report informs, citing the company.
During the meeting, it was noted that relations between SOCAR and Chinese companies, as well as financial institutions, have been developing successfully, with significant projects being implemented to expand cooperation across various areas.
During the conversation, information was provided about SOCAR's projects in Azerbaijan and abroad, as well as projects planned for the future. The discussion also included an overview of the projects implemented by the Bank, which operates as a financial institution of the Chinese government, to support overseas investment and international economic cooperation.
The parties reviewed opportunities for cooperation across various areas of the energy sector, including the refining industry, and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
