Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company (SOCAR) and Sri Lankan companies have exchanged views on potential cooperation in the energy sector and other matters of mutual interest.
SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Sri Lanka’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, Vijitha Herath.
During the meeting, the minister was briefed on international energy projects initiated by Azerbaijan, SOCAR’s diverse business activities and the company’s long-term strategic objectives.
The discussions also covered projects implemented by SOCAR in Azerbaijan and abroad, as well as the company’s achievements in these areas.
